Colin is an associate in commercial litigation and arbitration

Colin qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland in 2005, having trained at Arthur Cox in Dublin.

Post qualification, Colin worked in the Financial Services Group at Arthur Cox. He subsequently worked in two of Ireland’s leading law firms advising on commercial, construction, professional negligence, environmental and planning disputes. Following his time at Ireland’s leading law firms, Colin worked as in-house legal counsel for a hotel group in Ireland where he was responsible for commercial and litigation matters. With a broad range of experience, Colin established his own legal practice in 2009 with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and alternative methods of dispute resolution including mediation.

Colin also draws on his own business experience in the advices he provides to clients (Colin established and ran his own legal practice in Ireland with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation). Colin also has a particular interest in mediation and he is an accredited mediator from Regent’s College London (School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology).

Colin joined City Law in September 2010 and practices in the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration Group advising clients on complex financial disputes.

Colin received an undergraduate degree in law from Trinity College Dublin in 2001 and a postgraduate diploma in Applied Finance Law from the Law Society of Ireland in 2005. He was awarded the Patrick O’Connor Memorial Award for obtaining the highest mark in the Law of Equity in the Law Society of Ireland entrance examinations.
